Alton’s legacy is more than decades of technical knowledge - it reflects his dedication to teaching, mentoring and setting a standard for excellence in valve maintenance and repair.
Today, that legacy continues under the leadership of Nick Bailey.
Meet Nick Bailey
An Oklahoma native, Nick has spent his career in pressure relief valves (PRVs) and safety valves, gaining hands-on expertise across the industry.
Nick holds National Board accreditation and has been instrumental in securing VR, T/O and ASME V & UV certifications, writing and implementing quality control manuals, and overseeing valve repair and assembly operations.
He has led PRV divisions, trained sales and service teams, and managed shop operations for multiple companies.
Nick serves on two National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) committees:
NBIC SG-PRD: Subgroup on Pressure Relief Devices, focusing on the National Board Inspection Code for PRD compliance and safety standards.
NBIC SC-PRD: Subcommittee on Pressure Relief Devices, responsible for developing and maintaining PRD standards across the industry.
